Which event, fact, or character you read about today was most interesting to you? Why?
Katniss Everdeen. She maybe kind of... heartless at times, but she was so strong. Considering how much she went through, I think Katniss dealt with it all very realistically. And she also wasn't dependent of other people.

Book Reaction #2
I was shocked when Prim's name came up. I never thought that this would happen. Then suddenly another twist, Katniss volunteer to replace Prim in the hunger games.
The Hunger games ch.3
After Katniss volunteers to replace her younger sister Prim for the hunger games and Peeta Mellark's name came up, the peacekeepers took them into a luxurious room, where they were spoiled with the finest food and clothes. Prim now has no one except her mother which she can no longer take care of Prim after the death of her husband which traumatized her. Katniss knew she had to do something about it, so she tried to shake her back to the real world to make her realize that she need to take responsibility and protect Prim.

Hello,
My name is Abdulrahman and I was born in Kuwait. I'd like to tell you a piece of my story.
Through high school, I’ve grown in an international environment, with
classmates from different parts of the world. This taught me many traditions
from different countries and that everyone might behave and look different
but that we are all the same. I have learned how to interact with people from
different backgrounds and beliefs, as I have participated in many multi-
cultural team projects and assignments.
My role model in life would be my older brother, studying abroad in really tough
situations where he had no family or friends, luckily Penn State is a great
university to adapt to. In less than a month he felt really welcomed to the city
itself and mainly the University. He would always advise me to follow his
footsteps but to make even more progress to be the son that my parents would
be proud of.
